Comparison of Iodoform and Paraminobenzoate for The Managment of Dry Socket

Objective: The aim of present study is to compare effectiveness two different modalities Iodoform and Para-Aminobenzoate for the management Dry socket. Material And Methods: Patients reported with dry socket at OPD Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Institute Dentistry, Liaquat University Medical Health Sciences, after mandibular molar tooth extraction were included After thorough irrigation sterile saline followed up three alternative days by replacing dressing then findings recorded in designated proforma patients. Pain was measured Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Results: mean age group A 26.18+4.41 years B observed 26.0+3.92 years. Males predominantly both groups. In this 3rd commonest as 81.1% A.
